디스위켄드룸은 2026 프리즈 서울에서 김서울(b.1988), 김진희(b.1990), 박지나(b.1980), 최지원(b.1996), 그리고 파블로 벤조(b.1982)를 소개합니다. 갤러리 부스는 ‘Post Sincerity’를 주제로, 이미지가 범람하는 환경 속에서 회화라는 매체를 도구 삼아 시대적 감수성을 탐구하는 작가들의 작업 세계를 조명합니다. 이들은 빠른 휘발성을 지닌 오늘날의 이미지 속성을 탐구하며, 그럼에도 불구하고 지나간 풍조의 순수와 숭고미를 간직한 화면을 구축합니다. 파편화된 일상의 장면, 가벼운 농담과 유희가 스민 작품들은 진짜와 가짜의 경계에서 여전히 타인과의 교감을 갈망하는 현대인의 감정적 양상을 드러냅니다. 아이러니의 시대를 관통하는 가장 현대적이고 낯선 방식의 위로와 공감을 경험해 보시기 바랍니다.
ThisWeekendRoom presents works by Seoul Kim(b.1988), Jinhee Kim(b.1990), Jina Park(b.1980), Jiwon Choi(b.1996), and Pablo Benzo(b.1982) under the concept of Post Sincerity, a sensibility that holds emotional narratives while revealing the performance of sincerity itself.
