Introduction
박지나 개인전 전시의 제목인 ’조각난 에덴‘은 기독교 교리에서 파생된 평화로운 에덴 동산과 달리 사회 구성원의 취향과 문화적 차이에 따라 발생하는 오해와 갈등, 그로 인해 구분되는 나와 타인의 관계를 은유한다. 작가는 인간이 세상을 바라보는 방식과 그것이 만들어 내는 지배적 이데올로기를 좇으며 그가 몸담은 세계와 그 속의 개인이 무엇으로 구성되어 있는지 질문한다.
The exhibition title, ”Fragmented Eden,“ serves as a metaphor for the misunderstandings and conflicts arising from the tastes and cultural differences among people, as well as the divided relationships between us and others—unlike the peaceful Garden of Eden described in Christian doctrine. The artist explores how humans perceive the world and the dominant ideologies that emerge from this perception, questioning what the world and the individuals within it truly consist of.
