About Artist 이승희는 일상에서 관계맺는 존재들을 바탕으로 판타지적 서사를 상상한다. 그는 주로 개와 같은 동물들을 신화적 존재들과 결착시켜 하이브리드적인 존재로 탈바꿈시킨다. 작가의 세계에서 새로운 삶을 얻게된 대상들은 눈에 보이지 않는 힘을 주관하는 메신저와 같은 기능을 수행한다.
Seounghee Lee imagines fantasy narratives based on the beings connected to humans in everyday life. She mainly mixes animals such as dogs with mythological creatures and turns them into hybrid ones. In Lee’s world, beings that have gained new lives become messengers who control the invisible forces.
