Introduction
디스위켄드룸은 2026년 10월 17일부터 11월 14일까지 김동해, 헤코 2인의 쇼케이스《FOUND FORMS : Donghae Kim × HEAKO》를 개최합니다. 전시는 두 작가가 주변 환경에서 발견한 형태와 그로부터 비롯된 사유의 결과물을 각자의 조형 언어로 재구성하는 방식을 조명합니다. 김동해는 식물의 움직임을 비롯한 자연의 미세한 변화에서 포착한 리듬을 선과 면, 그리고 여백으로 옮겨 눈에 보이지 않는 공기의 흐름을 드러냅니다. 헤코는 건축적 비례와 기하학적 형태에 대한 관심을 바탕으로 상이한 물성의 대비와 조화를 실험하며, 인공과 자연, 기능과 조형 사이의 균형을 탐구합니다. 일상에서 채집한 감각을 물질적 실체로 전환하는 이들의 작업은 공예와 파인 아트, 기능과 조형의 경계를 유연히 넘나들며, 사물과 공간을 바라보는 익숙한 시선 너머 새로운 가능성을 제안합니다.
ThisWeekendRoom is pleased to present FOUND FORMS: Donghae Kim × HEAKO, a two-artist showcase featuring Donghae Kim and HEAKO, on view from October 17 to November 14, 2026. The exhibition explores how each artist draws inspiration from forms observed in the world around them and reinterprets them through their own artistic language. Donghae Kim captures subtle rhythms in nature, such as the movement of plants, and translates them into lines, planes, and negative space to reveal the invisible flow of air. Drawing on an interest in architectural proportions and geometric forms, HEAKO experiments with the contrast and harmony of diverse materials, exploring the balance between the artificial and the natural, function and form. By transforming everyday observations and sensations into tangible forms, both artists blur the boundaries between craft and fine art, function and sculpture, inviting viewers to see familiar objects and spaces from a new perspective.
