김진희(b.1990)는 나와 타자, 그리고 우리로 대변되는 보편적 인물의 일상을 다채로운 색의 스펙트럼으로 표현한다. 그는 등장인물의 평범한 행위와 원초적 상태를 인종과 문화, 성별과 언어의 구분을 상쇄하는 시각적 알레고리로 활용한다. 또한 개인이 처한 지리적, 정치적, 사회적 환경에 따라 발생하는 여러 차이와 소외의 감정을 돌아보며 정체성을 규정하는 기성의 인식에 질문을 던진다. 극적인 빛 아래 드러나는 인물의 작은 움직임은 매 순간 흔들리는 스스로의 현전을 확인하고자 하는 우리의 의지와 소망을 반영한다.

김진희는 홍익대학교 회화과 학사 및 베를린 예술대학교 조형예술과 석사를 졸업했으며, 펠트부쉬비스너루돌프(베를린, 2025), 박서보재단(서울, 2025), 프리즈 No.9 코크 스트리트(런던, 2024), 디스위켄드룸(서울, 2023), 프리오 아트 스페이스(바르셀로나, 2022) 등에서 개인전을 개최했다. 독일, 한국, 중국, 스페인 등 다양한 국제 무대에서 열린 단체전에 참여했으며, 주요 전시 기관으로는 에스더쉬퍼(서울, 2026), 쿤스트하우스 에르푸르트(에르푸르트, 2025), 국립현대미술관(과천, 2025), 탕 컨템포러리아트(베이징, 2024), 백스테이지(상하이, 2024), 페이스갤러리(서울, 2024), 펠트부쉬비스너루돌프(베를린, 2024), 베저할레(베를린, 2023), 서울대학교미술관(서울, 2023), 스테인하우저 갤러리(브라티슬라바, 2023), 튜즈데이 투 프라이데이(발렌시아, 2023), 대전창작센터(대전, 2023), 프리오 아트 스페이스(바르셀로나, 2022), 디스위켄드룸(서울, 2022), 갤러리 휘슬(서울, 2021) 등이 있다. 2025년 쿤스트폰즈 재단 장학금(독일)을 수여했으 며, 국립현대미술관, 국립현대미술관 미술은행, 스페이스 K, 박서보재단, 슈탈베르크 컬렉션(독일)에 작품이 소장된 바 있다.

Jinhee Kim(b.1990) delves into the colorful spectrum of everyday life, capturing the essence of oneself, others, and our shared experiences. Kim utilizes ordinary acts and primordial states of characters as visual allegories that transcend divisions of race, culture, gender, and language. She also challenges existing perceptions that define one’s identity by reflecting on the differences and feelings of alienation that arise from geographical, political, and social environments. The subtle movements of the figures, revealed under dramatic light, reflect our will and desire to affirm our fragile existence in each moment.

Jinhee Kim holds BFA in Hongik University and MFA in Visual Art for Painting(Meister schülerin von Prof. Burkhard Held) from Berlin Art University. Kim has held solo shows at FeldbuschWiesnerRudolph(Berlin, 2025), PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION(Seoul, 2025), Frieze No.9 Cork Street(London, 2024), ThisWeekendRoom(Seoul, 2023), and Prior Art Space(Barcelona, 2022). She also actively participated in various group shows in Germany, Korea , China, and Spain including at Esther Schipper(Seoul, 2026), Kunsthaus Erfurt(Erfurt, 2025), National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art(Gwacheon, 2025), Tang Contemporary Art(Beijing, 2024), Backstage(Shanghai, 2024), PACE Gallery(Seoul, 2024), FeldbuschWiesnerRudolph(Berlin, 2024), WESERHALLE(Berlin, 2023), Seoul National University Museum of Art(Seoul, 2023), Steinhauser Gallery(Bratislava, 2023), Daejeon Creative Center(Daejeon, 2023). She is a selected artist of Kunstfonds Stipendium from Stiftung Kunstfonds(Germany, 2025), and her works are included in the collection of MMCA(Korea), Government Art Bank of MMCA(Korea), Space K(Korea), PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION(Korea), and Stahlberg Collection(Germany).
